Gran Turismo 5 release date set for November 2, 2010! Finally!

I, among millions of others, have been waiting much too long for Gran Turismo 5 to come out. It was expected to come out in the beginning of this year, but things happened, which created more anxiety for us GT fans. But wait no longer kiddos, this is it! November 2, 2010 is the day you need to drop some bucks on this game for the PS3. If you don’t have a PS3 yet, this may be your excuse to get one now!

Japanese job-seeker puts himself up for auction

It appears that Japan’s job market is somewhat distressed as ours. With the influx of laid off workers over the past few years, there is a huge applicant pool where the competition is super high. Some people are starting to be creative, much like Mr. Yu Osumi from Japan, whom puts himself up for auction on one of Japan’s biggest online auction services. His auction listing is titled “Priority Interview Rights for the Transfer of the Personal Business of ‘Yu Osumi.’”

Simulation of traffic jams!

I’m no stranger to rush hour and the anomalies of driving around Portland. I’ve witnessed numerous times when traffic has haulted, and strangely when traffic resumes at a normal pace many frustrations later, you see nothing! You’re thinking ‘Come on! At least give me something! Maybe some mangled car or traffic ticket being issued!?’ Well, this video from Nagoya, Japan may put some minds at ease as to why we have retarded fluctuations in traffic. Yes – blame it on the bad drivers for the most part.
