I was taking an architectural art class and after missing a field trip, I ran into a classmate whom showed me his artwork. It consisted of abstract and non-representational visuals, somewhat along the lines of shroomish hallucinogenic. It was cool and different. When I saw MGMT’s album cover for “Congratulations”, it totally reminded me of my classmate’s artwork. Groovy trippy shroomy.

We all grew up to some sort of fairy tales, and 99.9% of those told or shown to us have obviously been sugar coated. Some of the fairy tales never do have a happy ending, and the pictures below represent the latter.

I’m a fan of all types of art and these photos by Agan Harahap really caught my eye. Based out of Jakarta Indonesia, his newest project ‘Super Hero’ takes some of our favorites like Superman and Batman, and puts them in wartime scenes from the mid-20th century. Darth Vader+Franklin Roosevelt+Winston Churchill, and Josef Stalin=Awesome!!

Yes they did! Jailbreak Toys, who also made the Barack Obama action figure, which raised nearly $10,000 for his campaign, is now coming out with ‘The Michelle’.  Always fashionable, the first lady will be available in three of her most memorable outfits.

Ok, this is pretty rad. Some Lego artists have created some amazing Lego Monsters! Definitely much cooler than any of the Lego buildings and machines I ever created 18 or some years ago =p
