Get your tickets now! “Deep Green” has it’s world premiere here in Portland on June 22, 2010 at the Bagdad Theater. It’s a documentary that has been in the works for over 3 years, which brings to light an urgent situation related to our ecosystem. The documentary shows us how to decrease our carbon footprint by being aware of our resources and thinking in terms of reusable energy. I had a chance to meet briefly with the Director-Writer-Producer, Matt Briggs, and he is a very positive and friendly person. His profound knowledge on the subject matter leave me with no doubt that this will be a very informative and fantastic documentary. I am pretty excited to see this and will probably grab my tickets asap!

Some people are starting to be creative, much like Mr. Yu Osumi from Japan, whom puts himself up for auction on one of Japan’s biggest online auction services. His auction listing is titled “Priority Interview Rights for the Transfer of the Personal Business of ‘Yu Osumi.’”

What do people fear more than death??

By dezak  //  Art, Cool  //  No Comments

Many common fears are heights, enclosed spaces, water, snakes, public speaking, and death. But what’s the most common fear?? Spiders! I am one of an arachnophobe myself and have been played pranks on numerous times. Remember though, “It’s all fun and games until someone loses an eye.” Here is a wonderful short film called “Spider” by Nash Edgerton & David Michôd.
