Alma by Rodrigo Blaas

Alma is a short animation film by first time director Rodrigo Blaas (a Pixar animator). Alma has won many awards and has been nominated for Best Animation Shortfilm in Spain. It’s a bit eerie, with that eeriness similarity to Coraline (produced by Laika which is in Portland btw). If you love strange, awkward, eerie things, or just good creative stuff, then you’ll enjoy Alma.

VW’s new concept coupe: a poorman’s A5

I drool whenever I see an Audi A5/S5 on the streets. When I saw Volkswagen’s new concept coupe, I was surprised to see that it looks very similar to the A5. I’m not a huge fan of VW, but I’ve gotta say that this concept coupe looks beautiful, and if the specs are right, I wouldn’t mind rolling one of these around.

Im sure you all have seen movies where characters are moving things on their computer screens with the movements of their hands. Well now we will also be able to do the same in the very near future. I ran across this article in the New York Times and I think its pretty cool.
